To this end, humantektur works with people worldwide, regardless of their origin or political and religious beliefs in all areas of life: housing, social and health care, education and work. humantektur develops context-related solutions for a socially, ecologically, economically and culturally sustainable built environment together with the people concerned or supports them in their development. The aim is to improve people’s living conditions and at the same time protect the resources and diversity of the environment. We do this worldwide: in Germany and especially in countries of the Global South.

Our core competencies are designing & planning and advising on architectural projects in Germany, in developing countries and in crisis regions. We support our partners by advising them, by organising training and qualification measures, connecting stakeholders with each other and designing and planing together with our partners. Aspects of sustainable, safe, climate-friendly and barrier-free construction are at the centre of our work: from building with the sun to the use of ecological materials, the planning of escape routes and barrier-free access to buildings. As a non-profit organisation, we also support selected construction projects in the field of humanitarian aid and development cooperation.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]

TEAM

[/vc_column_text][lab_team_members layout_type=”visible-titles” columns_count=”4″][lab_team_members_member image=”298″ name=”Michael Grausam” sub_title=”Managing Director” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fhumantektur.de%2Fen%2Fmichael-grausam-managing-director%2F|title:Michael%20Grausam%20-%20Managing%20director”][lab_team_members_member image=”286″ name=”Maike Buttler” sub_title=”Managing Director” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fhumantektur.de%2Fen%2Fmaike-buttler-managing-director%2F|title:Maike%20Buttler%20-%20Managing%20director”][/lab_team_members][lab_team_members layout_type=”visible-titles” columns_count=”4″][lab_team_members_member image=”845″ name=”Theresa Bauer” sub_title=”Office assistant” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fhumantektur.de%2Fen%2Ftheresa-bauer%2F”][lab_team_members_member image=”401″ name=”Rebecca Träger” sub_title=”Building consultant” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fhumantektur.de%2Fen%2Frebecca-trager%2F”][lab_team_members_member image=”846″ name=”Ines Nieto” sub_title=”Building consultant” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fhumantektur.de%2Fen%2Fines-nieto%2F”][lab_team_members_member image=”847″ name=”Lucie Bortoli” sub_title=”Building consultant” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fhumantektur.de%2Fen%2Flucie-bortoli%2F”][/lab_team_members][vc_column_text css=””]

[vc_column_text]

Freelance employees

Anke Reichert, Robert Müller, Wolf Raber, Zhuopu Li

[vc_row]

Former employees

Barbara Schnegg, Alejandro Orduz, Amelia Seisdedos, Andreas Bernögger, Albrecht Harder, Gerlind Rudert, Iga Reichel, Jana Göpel[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]

humantektur – one mission, two hearts

humantektur has existed since 2015. Initially founded as a planning office, we now work as two different companies:

All non-profit architecture projects in the context of development cooperation and disaster relief are managed via humantektur gGmbH. As we are recognized as a non-profit organization, we also raise donations and public funding for this purpose. humantektur gGmbH works mainly with German and international non-governmental and governmental organizations, provided they also pursue charitable purposes.
Here you can view the partnership agreement, the tax office’s notice of assessment and the annual reports.

Architectural projects and energy efficiency consulting in Germany are managed by humantektur – Grausam & Buttler Architekten PartGmbB. In the construction projects planned by humantektur PartGmbB, particular emphasis is placed on sustainable construction methods. For example, wood, a renewable building material, is used for the most part in new construction projects in Germany. At the same time, we are registered energy efficiency experts and plan and advise on GEG and BEG standards. We particularly focus of bioclimatic architecture in combination with the sensible use of energy-efficient plant technology.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]

Our contribution to sustainability

We cover our electricity and heating with green electricity (EWS) and wind gas (Greenplanet Energy). We have reduced our paper consumption: we only print when absolutely necessary and then on 100% recycled paper. Office supplies are ordered using climate-neutral shipping. We use energy-saving IT – manufactured in Europe wherever possible – and are customers of GLS Bank, a sustainable bank. In the modernized areas of our office in Berlin-Tempelhof, we have modernized the heating system, improved the access to natural light and used sustainable building materials such as lime and clay plaster and Blue Angel-certified wall paints (solvent-free).[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_section][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]

Unsere Partner

[/vc_column_text][lab_clients column_spacing=”yes”][lab_clients_entry image=”1183″ title=”Brot for the World” link=”url:http%3A%2F%2Fwww.brot-fuer-die-welt.de|target:_blank”][lab_clients_entry image=”1191″ title=”Christoffel Blindenmission” link=”url:http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cbm.de|target:_blank”][lab_clients_entry image=”1195″ title=”Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe” link=”url:http%3A%2F%2Fwww.diakonie-katastrophenhilfe.de|target:_blank”][lab_clients_entry image=”1215″ title=”Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammmenarbeit” link=”url:http%3A%2F%2Fwww.giz.de|target:_blank”][lab_clients_entry image=”500″ title=”Caritas International” link=”url:http%3A%2F%2Fwww.caritas-international.de|target:_blank”][lab_clients_entry image=”499″ title=”Deutsches Institut für Ärztliche Mission e.V.” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fdifaem.de|target:_blank”][lab_clients_entry image=”497″ title=”Architekten über Grenzen” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Farchitekten-ueber-grenzen.de%2F|target:_blank”][lab_clients_entry image=”1172″ title=”Care” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.care-international.org%2Four-work%2Fwhere-we-work%2Fsierra-leone|target:_blank”][lab_clients_entry image=”1173″ title=”CCDB” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fccdbbd.org%2F|target:_blank”][lab_clients_entry image=”1174″ title=”Tusonge” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.tusongecdo.org%2F|target:_blank”][/lab_clients][/vc_column][/vc_row][/vc_section][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””] About us Humantektur refers to people (human) and their work (tektur).
