Second Online Dialogue Forum of ‚Global Women in Architecture‘ – Women Urbanists shape the City

We invite you to the second online dialogue forum of ‚Global Women in Architecture – Women Urbanists shape the city‘ which will take place on 16 January 2026 from 02:30 p.m. until 04:30 p.m. CET.

The topics will be socially responsible urban development projects and initiatives by and for women.
The programme will be:

• Rafaella Yacar, Architect: „Fighting contradictions: two socially innovative housing initiatives in central São Paulo“
• Tiisetso Mofokeng, Urban Planner, Stellenbosch Universität in Südafrika: “Girls Make the City”
• Dr. Bedour Braker, Jan Braker Architekt “Tracing Her City: Gendered Urban Paths and Cultural Bridges in Design from Cairo to Hamburg”

We also want to discuss the role mentoring plays in promoting women in architecture and how we can learn from international approaches.
